Coffee Origins

Java is a coffee varietal that is exceptionally high quality and has naturally high resistance to Coffee Berry Disease, making it a sought after varietal for producers and consumers alike. This java is from the decorated El Socorro in Guatemala.
We are excited to be deepening our connection with El Socorro by sharing coffees from their wider range. We began our relationship with El Socorro in 2023 when we bought their Guatemalan CoE winning washed gesha. Since then, we have felt privileged to share a wider and wider
offering from this incredible producer. This Java is a clean and crisp washed coffee. Flavour notes of orange blossom, nectarine and brown sugar.
El Socorro is a 700 hectare property, of which only 125 hectares are dedicated to coffee. The rest is natural forest that the team have decided to preserve. Diego produces many coffees including pacamara, geisha, bourbon and more. Most of which are shade-grown with other crops such as avocados to create a healthy environment for the coffee trees. In 2023, El Socorro won the Guatemalan Cup of Excellence for one of their washed geisha, we were so thrilled to be able to share this particular geisha with you. El Socorro is truly at the forefront of Rare and Exclusive coffees.

Freshly roasted beans make great coffee. Our coffees are roasted every week, nitrogen flushed and vacuum sealed.

Single origins: Our roast style and green coffee preference suits both filter and espresso very well.

Each coffee with present different characteristics you may prefer through a specific brew method.

For example Dario loves washed Kenyan’s through the AeroPress, but they taste great as espresso and through the V60.

Blends: Designed with espresso in mind but Dreamer tastes great in the plunger. It’s all down to personal preference!

Major centres, 2-3 days. Outlying 2-5 days depending on how far out-of-the-way the location is.
