Our pod has three main components: 1) a shell made from a plant-based biomaterial; 2) a vegetable fibre lid and 3) an edible ink stamp. Our pod has been designed for consistency in strength and taste.
Yes! They have been designed to work specifically with Nespresso® machines. They are not however recommended for use in fully-automatic Nespresso® machines.
Yes, our pods are 100% compostable. They can be turned into compost when entered into a commercial composting facility! At this facility, they use high temperatures to break down plant-based bio-materials into carbon or nitrogen, which can also be turned into nutritious soil full of life!
Your Coffee Pod Subscription box will be shipped within 24 hours of order confirmation. If you ordered on a weekend, we’ll ship it out on Monday.
For deliveries in major centres, your order will arrive within 2-3 days. For outlying areas, depending on how far out-of-the-way the location is, you can expect delivery within 2-5 days.

To do this, simply head over to your account and head over to the subscriptions tab. In there you’ll be able to make all the changes you’ll need.

For this one, you’ll need to head over to payfast.co.za. Once there, sign-in and find your way to Ad Hoc Agreements. Here is where you will find and be able to edit the billing info attributed to your subscription with us.
Here at Bluebird we roast our coffees to a light to medium roast degree. What this allows us to do is showcase the flavour nuance and integrity.
In the State of Mind blend the roast degree is light-medium.

ZAA must!
I absolutely love these, and this is from someone who is new to coffee and is quite fussy about what coffee I drink. I really enjoy the flavour and like that it is not too strong or acidity. The subscription is a must because you know that you're going to get amazing coffee without having to reminder to buy yourself, perfect for a busy working mom. I loved this so much I bought a second bag on top of my subscription.

As a new to coffee, very fussy coffee drinker I absolutely love this! The taste is amazing and not too strong. Also a great base to play around with and add syrups. I loved it so much I ordered a second bag in top of my monthly subscription. A must!
