Skipped this month’s subscription to treat myself to this gem. I’ve been wanting to try a geisha for about 2,5 years since getting into specialty coffee, I just never thought the price would be justified - “how much better could it get?” I was thinking. I was really happy with this purchase - it was for sure worth the price tag. It tastes delicious but the acidity was what I really loved. Very crisp. Spectacular coffee. It sort of makes sense to me now to swap out my usual 2-3 bags of regular specialty coffee for one bag of a special release each month, it’s special. It’s almost a different drink entirely in a way (if that makes sense). Give it a try - you’ll love it!

I splurged a bit here, and I was not disappointed. Having recently started my journey into exploring the specialty coffee, I realized that it is easy to misjudge the sheer amount of time, effort and expertise it takes to grow, process and roast a coffee bean that imparts the particular flavour notes. I highly recommend this, and will be buying again.

Great flavours, definitely pairs well with a milk based drink. I first had a taste of Bluebirds coffee at Shoots and Leaves and I haven't looked back. Keep up the great work!
